May 22, 2025---Haorui Genomics and Pacific Biosciences (NASDAQ: PACB), a global leader in long-read sequencing, jointly announced that Haorui Genomics has become PacBio’s distributor in China to promote the clinical translation of blood-related genetic testing technologies and sequencing platforms. This milestone partnership will facilitate breakthroughs in the clinical application of molecular diagnostic solutions based on novel long-read sequencing technologies, injecting new momentum into blood genotyping and the development of precision medicine.
As an innovator in blood genotyping, Haorui Genomics, since its establishment in 2020, has been committed to driving technological innovation in clinical blood group genotyping and other application areas using long-read sequencing. Leveraging PacBio’s advanced SMRT® HiFi® sequencing technology, Haorui has built a central laboratory in Xi’an, in the western hinterland of China, based on PacBio’s Sequel II, Revio, and Vega sequencing platforms. It has developed a leading third-generation high-throughput sequencing technology application system in China, providing a new technology platform and more reliable testing products for high-resolution HLA typing, blood group genotyping, and rare blood group identification.
